HADY MIRZA!

yes.HADY MIRZA has won the 1st asian idol.ITS DAMN SHOCKING.I cant believe the straits times(or was it some other thing?)said it was stunning UPSET.OK.I thought
Mike or Jacq would win.IF you were to see youtube, the people wrote HARSH comments about him winning.THEY say he won because of his charms, not because he can sing.
THEY say it was supposed to be MIKE or MAU or JACQ.THEY say HADY didnt deserve to win.ITS ASIA WHO VOTE FOR HIM-not only singapore.SINGAPORE VOTES ALONE is not enough for him to win.Don't just blame on him.THEY say they think the results were incorrect.BUT WHAT IS DONE,IS DONE.The first asian idol is NOT Mike,Jacq or Mau.LIVE WITH IT.
And this indonesian article i read thru the internet says,
a group of people left their seats even though the performance have not finished. They said they knew the people were disappointed that Mike Mohede who were THEIR IDOL and got very good comments from evry judges didnt win.

What i think it that of course they left when Mike didnt win because its their country's idol.He didnt win so they left.that's natural but that's not very nice though.THERE'S NOTHING you can do.HADY had won.MIKE have the voice,i agree but hady won.THEY said HADY winning was so-called an upset to them but IT's not ONLY singapore who voted..IT MIGHT BE ALSO SOME OF OTHER ASIAN COUNTRY PEOPLE.GET REAL.

and i saw this report on hady mirza winning asian idol and they were allowed to put comments there.AND I REALLY LOVE THIS COMMENT made by doldadi07..
here's the comment..
some ppl still dont seem to get the idea that it wasn’t ONLY a singing competition. its a ‘whole package’ competition. being able to sing excellently is NOT enough.

Jaclyn could sing, she’s technically superb. and she looks good. however, the way she sang all her songs, it seemed like she was BORED and was just going through the whole routine. she didnt engage with the audience with her expressions. just hit the high notes only. and she looks over-confident all the time. its only natural for ppl like humble ppl.

mau is another great singer. very expressive in her vocals. but then again…as an idol… you need to have the commercial package. as much as we hate to admit it (cos its shallow), good looks and ‘proportion’ play a big part as well. look at Ruben Studdard, winner of American Idol 2. Where is he now? not as popular as Clay aiken or kelly clarkson or carrie underwood thats for sure.

i love mike’s vocals. but mike will be a ruben studdard if he won asian idol. there’s nothing exciting to him besides his lovely vocals. once again…think commercial success…good looks…proportion…ability to sing well. mike’s like a cuddly singing teddy bear. too adorable to be idol material.

abhijeet phuong vy and hady were the ones with the weaker vocals in the competition, as compared to jac mau and mike. but they have the looks. however phuong vy was not entertaining enough. sweet looker but boring. and we all know most voters make up of excited young girls. who do you think they’d vote for? a singer prettier than them or handsome looking boys?

between abhijeet and hady, in terms of package, they are probably equal. but abhijeet sounds better singing hindi songs. the kuch kuch hota hai song was probably the most entertaining. if you look at it the wrong way, they look like two gays singing a love song. hilarious and entertaining.

that leaves with hady…he can sing english songs as well as malay songs well. his accent is not thick and is understood easily by all. he can dance well enough to make the girls scream, he’s got the looks, he can sing reasonably well and he knows how to work the crowd. those traits are essential in the commercial entertainment industry.

i agree with this person..
well..hady inspired me A LOT.IT'S an eye-opener for me.It's not always about how well you can sing or how powerful your voice is but how well you please the people-having the whole package and stuff like that.maybe he got the x-factor.who knows.
